DMCA Policy

We respect intellectual-property rights and respond to clear and complete notices of alleged copyright infringement under the U.S. Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. § 512).

How to Submit a Notice (DMCA Notice)

Send a written notice to hello@astralself.com containing:

1. An electronic or physical signature of the copyright owner or authorized agent;
2. Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed (or, if multiple, a representative list);
3. Identification of the material claimed to be infringing, with enough detail (URL, screenshot) to allow us to locate it;
4. Your contact information (address, telephone, email);
5. A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law;
6. A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the owner’s behalf.

Notices that do not include all required elements may not be actionable. Knowingly making material misrepresentations may make you liable for damages under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f).

Counter-Notification

If material you posted was removed and you believe the removal was a mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notification to hello@astralself.com containing:

1. Your physical or electronic signature;
2. Identification of the material that was removed and the location it appeared before removal;
3. A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief that the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification;
4. Your name, address, and telephone number, and a statement consenting to the jurisdiction of U.S. federal courts in your district (or, if outside the U.S., any judicial district in which AstralSelf may be found), and that you will accept service of process from the person who provided the original notice or their agent.

Repeat Infringers

We terminate accounts of users we determine, in our discretion, to be repeat infringers in appropriate circumstances.
